PROCESSES

  • AUSTEMPER – used on springs, washers and  wireforms
     
  • CARBON RESTORE – to diffuse carbon into steel surfaces
     
  • CASE HARDEN – applied to components for wear resistance
     
  • HARDEN & TEMPER – to increase the strength of engineering components
     
  • INDUCTION HARDENING – used to locally harden the surface of steel parts
     
  • NITROBLACK – a low temperature surface treatment with black oxide surface
     
  • NITROCARBURISING – austenitic and ferritic available using dedicated equipment
     
  • NORMALISING – used to homogenize steel structures after hot of cold working
